‘Cryptoqueen’ Ruja Ignatova added to FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List
Ruja Ignatova, a Bulgarian lawyer, allegedly duped investors of more than $4 billion, through OneCoin, a cryptocurrency company. She founded the company in 2014 and claimed to have invented a cryptocurrency, OneCoin. She followed multi-level marketing strategy and made false statements to promote this cryptocurrency. According to FBI, OneCoin is a private blockchain, unlike other virtual currencies that have public and verifiable blockchains. Moreover, the company determines the value of OneCoin rather than the demand-supply market dynamics. Ignatova defrauded the investors of over $4 billion and then disappeared in 2017. FBI has also announced a reward of $100,000 for sharing any information leading to her arrest. Europol added her to Europe’s most wanted list last month.
Google has announced to delete location history for visits to abortion clinics after the overturning of Roe v. Wade
Google has announced to quickly delete location history for people going to abortion sites and other medical sites following the overruling of Roe v. Wade last week by the Supreme Court. The company owns highly popular devices and data services, including Android, Fitbit, Search and Google Maps. Therefore, it is of utmost concern regarding any uncertainty of this data to be used to target what is now potentially a criminal activity.

Christine Mcguiness announced to front BBC documentary about autism in women and girls
Christine McGuinness has announced to front a new BBC documentary regarding autism in women and young girls. She decided to film the documentary after her own diagnosis with the condition in November 2021. The hour-long documentary will discuss the ignorance of autism in women and girls and how science and society misinterpret it.

This year, activists for women’s issues to receive the “Medal of Freedom”, awarded to the nation’s highest civilians
President Joe Biden will award the Medal of Freedom to 17 recipients next week. Biden will bestow the medal to several honorees including two athletes, U.S. gymnast Simone Biles and soccer player Megan Rapinoe. Biles has become the most decorated American gymnast in the history of the sport, earning a combined total of 32 Olympic and World Championship medals. She has been the most prominent voice in Larry Nassar’s case and an effective advocate for victims of sexual assaults. Whereas, Rapinoe, the first female soccer player who will receive the medal as well as a prominent advocate for gender pay equality and racial justice. She helped The US women’s soccer team to become the first women’s soccer team in history to receive equal pay with their male counterparts.
